Private networks, in Germany also known as campus networks, are local mobile networks, usually implemented with 5G, that companies deploy at their sites in a customized manner to securely network machines and processes. In Germany, the Federal Network Agency allocates the necessary frequencies for operation. Thanks to 5G technology and the use of dedicated frequencies, industry requirements for latency, reliability, security and availability can be implemented to a high degree.
