Smart manufacturing with 5G campus network solution and AI

QCT has deep expertise in 5G infrastructure and cloud-based data centres. Here we report on an industrial use case using the QCT OmniPOD 5G campus network solution.

QCT created a proof of concept (POC) for smart manufacturing using 5G Campus and artificial intelligence (AI). The client aimed to replace existing wired network technologies to gain more flexibility, improve worker safety, as well as counteract losses due to a production line shutdown. In addition to deploying OmniPOD in this project, QCT has also worked with Panasonic Taiwan to deploy OmniPOD in a renowned car lamp assembly plant in Tainan, southern Taiwan.
