The industrial transformation is driven by the aspects of digitization and individualization. However, a large part of the future solutions require a fundamentally new infrastructure. The new mobile communications standard 5G provides the framework and the basis for Industry 4.0 – the 5G arena and the 5G forum show the technology and necessary services, but also the current challenges to build the production of the future.
